Why did You choose Barceló Fuerteventura Mar?
Very simple – we walked by it and thought “Hmm, this would be a cool hotel to stay at.”
And that was it. A couple of months later we booked the room!
Our Room
Our room at Barcelo Mar Fuerteventura was spacious, well-appointed, and had stunning views of the ocean. We also enjoyed an amazing sunset during our visit.
The room had huge beds (and one for our little one), a sitting area, a flat-screen TV, and a private balcony with chairs and a table.
The bathroom was modern and clean, with plenty of towels and toiletries. We were impressed by the attention to detail and the little touches that made our stay all the more enjoyable.
For example, there we tasty snacks and chocolates waiting for us in the room.
We also love a big showerhead – and we got one at Barcelo Mar Fuerteventura!
What’s the entertainment like in Barcelo Mar Fuerteventura?
Barcelo Mar Fuerteventura offers a variety of entertainment options to suit all tastes.
During the day, guests can enjoy activities such as yoga, pilates, and aqua aerobics. Because we only stayed for a short period we didn’t really do yoga but we watched other people get sweaty from our balcony!
The hotel also has several swimming pools, including a heated pool and a saltwater pool.
The heated pool stays nicely warm even when the outside temperatures drop a little. We had a nice swim in February – a colder period in Fuerteventura.
In the evening, guests can enjoy live music, shows, and themed parties.

We truly loved our stay.
The hotel’s facilities, including the pools, and restaurants were top-notch, and the staff was friendly and attentive.
The food was delicious, and there was always plenty of variety. We always had a table full of plates!
